This is the privacy notice for caselabnow.com, operated by CaseLabNow ("we", "us"). It covers the information we deal with and the options open to you. Briefly: the text you paste is computed locally and never leaves your machine.

Scope of this policy

The tool this page covers is CaseLabNow, a text case converter. Put simply, it switches text between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case and Sentence Case while leaving punctuation and line breaks untouched, and the way it does so is this: it walks the string character by character and changes only the case of letters, so digits, symbols and existing whitespace pass through unchanged instead of being normalized away. Everything stated here applies to that tool and the values it handles, and to nothing else.

Everything the tool works with — the text you paste — is handled locally. It is usually reached for things like preparing a title for a document or a post, and because nothing is transmitted a visitor can close the tab knowing no copy was made anywhere.

The inputs you provide

The tool runs entirely client-side. What you type is used locally and only locally: there is no server round-trip, no log line, and no record kept anywhere but on your own screen for as long as the page is open.

Technical data gathered automatically

The hosting layer sees what any web server sees — client address, requested path, user agent, time — and that is the limit of it. None of those records contains the values you type into the text case converter, because those never reach the server.

Cookies and advertising

The only cookie we set ourselves is a small preference flag for the consent notice. Advertising is served by third parties, and those partners may place their own cookies to tailor the ads you see. You can refuse or clear them in your browser without losing any functionality — the tool itself has no dependency on cookies.

Analytics

We watch which of the CaseLabNow tools get used, in aggregate, so that effort goes where it is useful. That is the extent of it — no individual profile, and no analytics event ever includes the values you entered.

Where your input goes (nowhere)

Every value you type is handled by the page itself. Once you close it there is no record of what you entered, because none was created.

How long data is kept, and how it is protected

No personal calculation data is held by us at any point, which makes retention a non-issue for the tool. The site itself is delivered over encrypted connections and kept up to date.

Children and the site

Nothing here targets users under 13. If a child has sent personal details through the site, tell us and we will delete them.

Your rights

You may have statutory rights over personal data — to access, amend, erase or object to its processing, depending on your jurisdiction. You can exercise them by writing to us; in most cases there will be no stored data to act on.

CaseLabNow revises this page whenever the way it handles data changes; the "last updated" line at the top always shows the current version.
